How we do business

Use this space to explain that there are two areas to this page.

The first part of the page is designed to explain, in layman’s terms, the most common problems and misunderstandings customers encounter when doing business with you. Over time this area will be the first port of call whenever a customer misunderstands the service they have agreed to. Please try to take the time to update this area every time something goes wrong and compromises your customer service.

Understanding what we do

Explain that this is not your full terms and conditions of business but an answer to the most common questions you have been asked post-installation. The main advantage to writing your terms in not legal copy is that it has far more chance of being read and understood by your customer.

Secondly, you will have a quick resource to answer people’s questions before, during, and after installation projects.

Our Terms & Conditions

Please note that it is a requirement of trading standards that you have a terms & conditions page available on your website. As we are not qualified to give guidance on how to write legal words, we suggest that you first write as much as possible in the above “understanding what we do” section. Passing these subjects onto somebody legally qualified to write your business terms will provide you with better security when needed. Generic terms and conditions available on the internet could be a big mistake if you are unlucky.
